We will hold multiple strategy phone calls. At which, we will be your publisher and you will be one of our authors. It is important for you to be available to speak with us.
Book Editing
After you submit your manuscript we will look over the book and make any appropriate edits for you.
Book Cover Design
We prefer you attempt to create your own book cover. However, if you have no idea where to start, we can create it for you.
Formatting
After a book is written on programs like Microsoft Word, it has to be formatted and prepared to fit into a book so the printers can print the book. When we publish you, we will take care of this for you.
eBook Formatting
When it comes to eBook, Formatting has its own set of issues. We will take care of this for you too.
Cost Efficient Preparations
When formatting the book for printing, the book needs to be laid out in a way where quality of the work is maintained; while keeping costs down. That might mean converting an image to black and white to reduce costs and maintaining the integrity of the picture.
Copywriting
We will take care of all necessary processing of your copy-write, including ISBN and bar-code. We will give you an ISBN 10 and also and ISBN 13
Printing
The cost of printing is based on the number of pages and dimensions of the book. There are also no out-of-pocket costs from you.
Distribution
We will present to you distribution avenues that will typically be at no cost to you. We are an out-right publisher. We are taking the risk in you!
Hassle-Free
It is terribly annoying to send your work to a publisher, just to get ignored. Here at Markis Publishing; we want to hear from you. We don't hide from you like other publisher do.
Research
We did all of the research for you on how to publish your book. We already have all of the channels lined up to get your book published and on to the market.
Royalties
You keep all royalties after you clear the printing costs and other fees that come along the way. Typically you will see a few dollars per book. Every book is different and we will discuss this during our first phone call.

We are a full publishing firm. We do not ask for any money to have your book published. We earn our money after the book is published. Both the author and the publisher make money after the book is published from the royalties.
Unless if you ask us to do something out of the ordinary then we will discuss this on a “need by need” basis.
You will receive your royalties by check. Unless if we make separate arrangements.
No, Of-course not! I know that some companies charge you by the hour for advice. However, we do not charge you any money to speak with nor do we charge any money to have your book published. We know that there are so-called publishers that exist that will ask YOU for money to publish your book. Those are typically scams and should not be trusted. A true publisher takes the risk in the book and the author.
No! When it comes to books, especially music books, their is no sign of slowing down. Besides, if we decide to publish your book, then it will be in eBook format too.
Everyone starts out new. We will work with you until your book is perfect for publishing. We ask that you reach out to us. You can call us, but we ask that you message us first. No, we also publish eBooks and distribute them to all of the major channels. Such as: Amazon and Barns & Nobles. Most of the time our books are perfect bound (glued spine) and we can also make arrangements for spiral bound and others.
